Though our grand patron here, C.S. Lewis' 'Is Theology Poetry?' has nothing to do with this essay. Let us not get carried away. Or maybe just a little bit :)
One of the reasons I believe GOD gave me the gift of writing, is to weave words that will sew people's hearts back together with the stitches of love & hope. I think one thing I want to be remembered for are my writings. I think I'd like that a lot — how my words gave people hope & meaning, and how they lamp to people's feet, lighting up the path that leads to salvation, reconciliation & inspiration in Christ Jesus 🙏🏽
You writing this made me realise it's not just poems we need to chronicle. We need to keep our favourite stories, memories, bible verses, songs, and anything that draws to our soul so that maybe one day they'd save our lives too.
And I just finished reading a CS Lewis book, so I think I'd stay here a while😁💫
Definitely! Chronicling such works of art as something to go back to is something I am working on doing myself. Where that list will stop, only God knows. LOL.
Thank you for choosing to stay. Which of his books did you just finish?

The pilgrim's regress. It felt so stacked with philosophical references, and I had to read it at a much slower pace than I normally read books
